STANDS BOLDLY FOR CHILDREN

Nevada’s Giving was founded by Cindy Birkland when she heard about an 8 year old boy that lost both of his parents on the same day and was immediately orphaned. There was an immediate financial need to fly him to extended family out of the country. His family did not have the money so he was made a ward of the courts. Birkland immediately went into action to help by creating a foundation that could act quickly and be the solution to an immediate need for children here in Nevada.
